Itineray
Day 1 - Buenos Aires
Arrival at Ezeiza International Airport. Meeting and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, city tour visiting the most interesting places in Buenos Aires city: Plaza de Mayo - Government House - The Cabildo - The Metropolitan Cathedral - Mayo Avenue - The Congress Palace - La Boca neighborhood - Palermo - The Planetarium and La Recoleta with its famous cemetery.
Day 2 - Buenos Aires
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure for optional tours. We recommend the Fiesta Gaucha (Tuesdays through Sundays): full day excursion dedicated to the visit of an estancia a typical Argentine ranch ideal place to appreciate the Argentine gaucho skills in cattle breeding and horseback riding. We will also enjoy the typical Argentine barbecue the "ASADO": cow ribs placed on an iron grid and grilled on wood embers.
Day 3 - Buenos Aires - Salta
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Aeroparque airport.
Day 4 - Salta
Meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure for optional tours. We recommend the city tour of one of the most picturesque cities in the country that still preserves its Hispanic fisonomy with its one story houses and its narrow streets.
Day 5 - Salta
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion to the famous Humahuaca Gorge. We will drive along route 9 passing throughout the small towns of Tumbaya - Purmamarca - Tilcara - Huacalera and Uquia until we arrive at Humahuaca which was founded in the 16th century at the Grande River bank and strongly influenced by the Inca Culture. We will walk through its narrow cobblestone streets with its sun dried clay brick houses visit its Church the Town Hall the Northern Carnival Museum and the craft fair. On our way back to Salta we will visit San Salvador de Jujuy city to see its main landmarks: San Francisco Church and the cathedral.
Day 6 - Salta
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure for optional tours. We recommend the full day excursion to Calafate a beautiful colonial village located in the very heart of the Calchaqui Valleys. We will walk along this village with colonial style houses and visit the main square the Parish Church and the Town Hall. We will also visit a famous wine cellar to taste some of the finest regional wines and continue to the Calchaqui Colonial and Archeological Museum.
Day 7 - Salta
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport.
