Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Lima - City Tour, Visit to the Colonial and Contemporary Zones

Upon arrival, our collaborators will hold a reception and will transfer you to the hotel. A documentation kit, detailed program explanation plus luggage and hotel registration assistance is offered. In the afternoon, we will take a city tour to the most ranked places of Lima, "The City of the Kings" including the most important architectonic of the city, such as the Main Square or Pizarro´s Square, where you can find the Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and the Archbishop´s Palace. Later, we continue with a visit to the San Francisco Convent, an architectonic jewel from the 16th century. On our way to the modern zone of the city, we will cross along the exclusive district of San Isidro, new financial heart of the city, to take a look at the Huaca Huallamarca. Finally, we conclude our circuit in Miraflores, where we will visit the Parque del Amor (Love Park), an excellent spot to enjoy a great view of the Pacific Ocean. Back to the Hotel, or if you want, we can drop you off at Larcomar´s entertaining center, where you can enjoy a dynamic environment with a beautiful view of the sea and excellent places to have fun, such as coffee shops, restaurants, souvenir and craftmanship stores, jeweler´s stores, ect.

Day 2 - Lima - Cusco - City Tour, Visit to Sacsayhuaman and Nearby Ruins

At the scheduled time, we will transfer you to the airport to take the flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, there will be a reception from our collaborators and will transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the morning is free to rest and adapt yourself to the high altitude. In the afternoon, we will visit the Imperial City, a living example of the mixture of the Andean and Spanish cultures. We will start our excursion by visiting the Santo Domingo Convent, built over the Koricancha, and ancient Inca Palace and main worship center of the Sun God. Later, we will stop in the Main Square, where you can find the Cathedral and the beautiful Iglesia de la Compañia (Church of the Company). Going on with the trip, we will visit the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, imposing sample of military inca architecture which domains the city. Finally, we will take a look at the archaeological centers of Qenko, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay, located on the north east of the city. As a suggestion to mysticism and esoteric lovers, the Sacsayhuaman Complex is an excellent spot to hold meditation sessions. Lodging in Cusco. Meals included: breakfast.

Day 3 - Cusco - Sacred Valley of the Incas - Pisac Market and Ollantaytambo

Excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where you can visit the colorful Pisac Market and appreciate a mixture of color, tradition and people. Located at 31km from Cusco, this town is in the entrance of a valley. We will continue with a tour to Ollantaytambo, with its very narrow streets which have not changed since the Inca’s time. This is the oldest constantly occupied town in America. A buffet lunch will be served in a hacienda restaurant. Lodging in the Sacred Valley. Meals included: breakfast and lunch.

Day 4 - Sacred Valley - Macchu Picchu - Cusco

You will visit one of the most energetic centers in the world: Machu Picchu. The excursion will be by train and during the trip, we will have an amazing view of the landscape of the Sacred Valley of Urubamba. Upon arrival to Aguas Calientes, our collaborators will assist you to board the bus which will take you to the citadel. It will be an unforgettable experience, where a professional tour guide will transmit us the history around this mysterious and charming place. After the guided tour, you will have some free time to explore the zone on your own, relax and meditate. At the scheduled time, we will go down to the Aguas Calientes town. Buffet lunch is included. In the afternoon, you will board the train that will take you back to Cusco. Upon arrival, our collaborators will be waiting in the special station of Poroy, from where we will transfer you to the hotel. This will save you like 40 minutes so you can be more relaxed and will be able to enjoy the nice night life of Cusco. Lodging in Cusco. Meals included: breakfast and lunch.

Day 5 - Cusco - Puerto Maldonado - Tambopata

At the scheduled time, we will transfer you to the airport to take the flight to Puerto Maldonado. Arguably the biodiversity capital of the world, this haven amidst the green ocean of Amazon Rainforest, ancient home to the Ese´eja, marks the beginning of a hands-on experience in the natural world. Wild, untamed, uninhabited, Tambopata invites us to follow its rivers as they snake through the forest filled with the scents of exotic flowers or take us to the non stop action of the spectacular wildlife displays, everything just a half hour flight from Cusco. We guarantee you won´t forget it. Upon arrival, there will be a welcoming reception and will transfer you to the pier for your departure in motor canoe to the selected harbor. If it is required, there will be a stop in the way for the last-minute shopping of basic utensils. Arrival in the afternoon to the harbor and accommodations at the hotel. All possible activities will be indicated by our tour guide: mainly, walks and canoe excursions for wild animal and bird watching. Lodging in the selected harbor. Day 6 - Tambopata

Possible activities will be indicated by your tour guide: mainly, walks and canoe excursions for wild animal and bird watching. Lodging in the selected harbor. Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 7 - Tambopata - Puerto Maldonado - Lima

Resting time until departure or coordination with your tour guide for an optional activity. We strongly recommend some bird watching from some natural or artificial viewing spot. At the scheduled time, return in motor canoe to Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the airport to take your flight to Lima. Upon arrival, there will be a reception by our collaborators and they will transfer you to the hotel. The afternoon will be free to rest, do some optional activity or do some last-minute shopping in the Indian markets and exclusive boutiques where you can find clothes made of vicuña and alpaca’s wool. Lodging in Lima. Meals included: breakfast.

Day 8 - Lima - International Departure

At the scheduled time, we will transfer you to the airport to take your international departure flight. Meals included: breakfast.
