| Your day starts with a guided transfer from Managua city to Colonial Leon. Check in and rest of the afternoon at leisure.
Overnight at El Convento, Leon

| Early breakfast. Right after head to Telica Volcano located about 30 kilometers from Leon. The volcano is just over a kilometer high (1,061 meters) and has a huge crater: 120 meters deep and 700 meters in diameter. The private transportation gets to the village San Jacinto, where you will visit the famous bubbling mud pools. From there a trail starts and leads you through cornfields and forest to the edge of the crater of the Telica volcano. The steep walls of the crater dropping down more than a hundred meters to where you can see lava glow makes your head spin. The campsite, just 15 minutes down from the crater, looks like a Garden of Eden. When it is dark you go back to the crater for the best possible views on the glowing lava.

| You rise early to climb to a ridge from where you see the sunrise. After breakfast you clear the camping area and go down to have lunch in Leon city. Rest of the afternoon at leisure to rest or to know the town on your own.

| Breakfast, your private transfer will take you to the bottom of Cerro Negro (Black Hill) Cerro Negro was born in 1850 and has since been one of the most active volcanoes in Nicaragua, with the last eruption occurring in 1999. Rising out of the green trees the black walls of Cerro Negro create a bizarre contrast with the surroundings. You will hike first on trails and later on kind of black dunes formed by former lava. As you reach the foot of the volcano you begin an easy climb up to the first of two active and colorful craters. Along with your expert follow the edge of the crater to get to the second crater and highest point of the volcano. You will spend some time on the top enjoying the views over the volcano range, the plains and highlands of Nicaragua and the Pacific Ocean. Then awaits you a fun part, a spectacular descent through the loose rocks and sand of Cerro Negro’s black slopes Talk to your local expert to see how fast you want to descent Cerro Negro. Snacks.

| Breakfast. Before you head with your local expert to the Colonial city of Granada, a stop to the Masaya Volcano will be made. The transportation will stop at the observation point of the crater edge and from there; you can choose to make an easy or moderate trek with your expert.
Arrival to Granada city and rest of the day at leisure.

| Starting at Granada, you take a 4WD the 45 minute drive to the slopes of the Mombacho volcano “The Puma Trail” where the “Cutirre” coffee farm is located at the Mombacho volcano natural reserve. This enormous cloud forest is full of luxurious vegetation which has managed to grow over the centuries since the last volcanic activity. The adventure begins on a paved road and right from the start we will be surprised by the biodiversity of this nature reserve and enjoy the breathtaking views. When we reach the summit, we will understand why this ecosystem is a cloud forest. The trek for today is around 4 hours and the trail choose by Careli Tours for this adventure is the Puma Trail
After lunch you will return to Colonial Granada. Rest of the day on your own.
