Itinerary
| Arrival to Maiquetía International Airport, located alongside the seashore. The city
is placed at the base of the Avila Mountain and at 950 meters of altitude with a
light tropical weather through the year, the city changes throughout the day.
Assistance and 30 minutes transfer to your Hotel, a deluxe complex located on a
nice zone of the city, near commercial establishments and fancy restaurants.
Upon arrival to your room a bottle of wine and a basket of tropical fruits will be
offered. Accommodation and overnight. |
| Breakfast. Panoramic view of the city from "la cota mil" and arrive to the station of the recently opened cable car.
This cable car was founded in 1956 and remains closed for several years. Ride the Caracas´ s cable car, and
enjoy the splendorous view of the capital from the Avila Mountain. Going up you will admire the diverse richness
of the Avila National Park, known to be Caracas Guardian. Upon arrival take pleasure in breathing and admiring
the pure and contrasting atmosphere. A world different from the rushed left down on the city. Have a close look
of the Humboldt Hotel, and architecture built on the highest point of the mountain. Enjoy your lunch on this
splendorous site. Opportunity to admire the view of the Caribbean sea and Galipan, a little town of ancient
Spanish immigrants, located between Caracas and La Guaira, and hidden down the hills of the Avila Mountain.
The calm and bucolic way of living will strongly contrast with the tumultuous city.
The accomodation can be arrange also in a new and funny hotel sea view in the littoral.
From this point the altitude is of around 2.000 mts. Only see the bleary line that divides the ocean from the sky.
Transfer to the airport. Afternoon flight to Los Roques. Transfer to the charming Posada. Special dinner with
candles and wine. Relax on the open terrace with the calm atmosphere of Los Roques at night. Overnight. |
| Breakfast. Day to discover the beauties of this National Park on your own. Walk from one key to another with
water level under your knees, snorkel or be a part, in season, of the lobster festival a down to earth experience
that offers the possibility to catch your own lobster . You will boat a motorboat and will be taken to a short
excursion around the little keys of the Archipelago. Enjoy a good day sunbathing on this exceptional white sandy
beaches and multicolor crystalline warm waters. Cold drinks will be served along with fish for lunch. Beach
umbrellas will be provided. Return to the posada at El Gran Roque. Dinner and overnight. |
| Breakfast. Depart to another excursion, but this time board one of the charming sailing vessels. Take the
excursion to one of the distant and secluded island. Navigation to the different small islands with white sandy
beaches surrounded by crystal clear, blue water and enchanting coral reefs. Night will be spent in the vessel,
and dinner will be served on board along with seafood and wine. |
| Navigation in the Archipelago, visiting pristine and lonely islands, enjoy the quite atmosphere of the archipelago,
where altogether wind, sun and water concur in such magnificently way. Overnight in the vessel. |
