Fernando de Noronha | AllCheapFares

Fernando de Noronha is an archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, midway from South America to Africa, around 220 miles (354 km) away from the Brazilian coast. The beaches of Fernando de Noronha are promoted for tourism and recreational diving. Due to the South Equatorial Current that pushes warm water from Africa to the island, diving to depths of 30 to 40 meters does not require a wetsuit. The visibility underwater can reach up to 50 meters.

The islands are home of the sharks, tuna, marine mammals and largest concentration of tropical seabirds in the Western Atlantic. Baia de Golfinhos has an exceptional population of dolphins.
